Associate Professor Jung-Ah Lee (UCI Sue & Bill Gross SON) has been named a fellow in the Gerontological Society of America for her body of work supporting caregivers of loved ones with dementia.
We respect and appreciate your passion and contribution to the care of patients and advanced nursing. Young Korean-American nurses will follow your passion. 
Education / Research
Our association is also focused on the continuing education of our current members. Registered nurses (RN) and nurse practitioners (NPs) are invited to join webinars regarding topics relevant to their field. This year, we will start by addressing the truths and myths of the Covid-19 vaccine and later host workshops for new graduate RNs and NPs, respectfully. We are also preparing to hold an academic conference for the first time. Lastly, we are working with other healthcare organizations to provide RN and NP license examination reviews.
For the past few years, we have worked on several research projects with City of Hope. In 2018, the topic was cancer survivorship. From 2019 to now, we created community projects focused on raising awareness for cancer clinical trials. These collaborative events are a great opportunity for bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) and master of science in nursing (MSN) students to obtain nursing research experience.

간호사, 또 nurse practitioners 들에게 필요한 지식들에 관련된 주제를 가지고 webniar 를 열고 있습니다. 올해에는 COVID Vaccine 에 대한 것으로 시작해서 Graduating RN and NP 들을 위한 세미나를 비롯해서 처음으로 학술대회도 열기 위해 준비하고 있습니다. 또한 RN and NP license examination review 도 다른 협회와 협력하여 준비하고자 합니다.
저희 협회에서는 CIty of Hope 과 같이 하는 Research project 도 있습니다. 2018 에는 Cancer survival ship 에 대해서, 그리고 2019 년 부터는 Cancer clinical trial awareness 를 높이기 위한 community project 을 함께 하고 있습니다. 관심이 있으신 BSN, MSN students 들에게는 간호 연구 경험을 쌓을 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다.
